What is a credit union?
A Credit Union is a cooperative financial institution that makes low-interest personal loans to its members; it is usually composed of persons from the same occupational group or the same local community.

Why is a Credit Union Better?
Credit Unions are Member-Owned and Not-For-Profit. Credit Unions tend to have better interest rates, fewer and lower fees, and distribute profits as dividends to their members.

How do I Join a Credit Union?
A Credit Union has a field of membership. You will need to determine which Credit Union’s field of membership you fall into. It may be determined by where you work, live, worship, attend school or by your family members. If you click on the Credit Unions listed below, you will be able to determine the Credit Union you are eligible to join.
